About Chris

Christopher Vlamakis

Chris Vlamakis is a Utah born Stage Manager, who has ran Theatrical productions, concerts, fundraising events, and filming for short films.

Chris has spent most of his life surrounded by the performing arts, heavily influenced by his mother, who was almost always singing at events or performing a local theatrical production. However, he did not take the most direct route to deciding his career.

After taking a hiatus from school, he proceeded to get his Associates degree from a local branch of Utah State University Eastern, pursuing computer programming. This however change when his film professor opened auditions for their Theatre Departments musical and Chris got a named role. After that things steamrolled from dabbling in acting to doing everything tech side and settling on Stage Management.

Chris spent most of his life volunteering for local festivals to help do everything and anything he could to make those events run, eventually becoming the event chairman for his local "Greek Festival" and along side his schooling, this firmly cemented the idea that he wanted to run events for the stage.

Since 2017 Chris has Managed theatrical productions, ran or assisted on over 30 concerts ranging from choir concerts to large full bands, all while pursuing his BFA in Theatrical Stage Management at Utah Valley University, Graduating in 2024. He currently is working as one of the contracted Production Stage Managers at the Ruth and Nathan Hale Theatre, in Pleasant Grove, Utah continuously pursuing and pushing his skills and dreams.
